The record books show that I hit 71 Home Runs during my career at Arizona. What most people don’t know is that my Home Run production went up substantially, after my freshman season when I was allowed to use my Easton bat.
Hard to say where my Home Run numbers would have been, had I had the opportunity to use Easton Bats, at the start of my college career.
If you were wondering, I swing a 34″ drop 8, which means its 26 ounces. I do not like a heavy end-load, and Easton was the only Bat Company that makes a drop 8, with a “slight” end-load (meaning it wasn’t a full one ounce end-load).
Now, during my 1st year with the USSSA Pride Team, I was able to continue to use Easton Bats, I also got to wear their catchers gear, which I think is THE BEST catchers gear in the entire country.
